Transforming Land & Lives.
Our Vision
By wisdom, we will grow a unified team that produces high-quality and profitable products and services in agriculture and livestock for the people of India.
PROJECTS
Our work in Dohnavur, Tirunelveli, began with the soil itself. Since 2023, we’ve moved through multi-year cycles of soil testing, tilling, fertilising, and planting cover crops like sorghum and dhaincha to gently restore exhausted fields. Tilling takes place after the southwest monsoon (October–November), with harvesting in February–March, allowing the land to recover at a pace that honours rainfall patterns and long-term soil health.
Agronomy & Land Restoration

In early 2025, Karyam commissioned its first livestock project: the Karyam Sheep and Goat Farm at Dohnavur. We began by building dedicated infrastructure for animal welfare and herd management, followed by our first and second batches of sheep in July and August 2025, with a third batch planned for late 2025–early 2026. Here, we focus on high-quality breeds, humane care, and traceable meat and milk products for health-conscious markets across southern Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Karyam Sheep & Goat Farm

Alongside our agronomy and sheep–goat projects, we are laying the groundwork for a fully integrated, regenerative farm system. We are building a premium product line around sheep meat and by-products, and planning additional units in phases: piggery and poultry from 2026, followed by a reconfigured dairy project, anticipated from 2027. Each new vertical is designed to reflect the same commitments that shape Karyam today: stewardship of land and animals, sustainable systems, and meaningful livelihood opportunities for local communities.
Farm Systems & Value-Added Products (In Development)

About Us
Karyam exists to close a clear gap: India’s demand for goat and sheep meat is rising, but most farms fail not for lack of buyers, rather because there are no systems. At our Dohnavur farm in Tamil Nadu, we run stall-fed sheep and goat operations built on planned fodder production, defined breeding, health and nutrition protocols, and daily records managed by trained staff under expert guidance. This is not a hobby farm, but a structured, values-led livestock enterprise that honours land, protects animal welfare, and creates dependable value for local communities and conscious buyers.
